I don't know what sin I have done? If I am doing any mistakes, any body can scold me. But if I am not, why is it so? It may be part of my past karma. I am so upset with the conditions in this world. As a part of my studies, I got some oppurtunities to go to different parts of the Garden City. Some people are living in a very pathetic condition. Modern man's planning has destroyed our dear ecological system. Today, wherever you go, you can only see flats. Who cares about nature today? Only some people. There are parks nearby some lakes that people come here daily to do exercises and to get fresh air , to get a piece of mind in this world of competitions and worries, to enjoy some beautiful scenes in this world . One day, people have to go to Oxygen Chambers and pay for each molecule of oxygen in the nearby future. Lakes are 'the Kidneys of the city' . If kidney fails, how can we survive? Bangalore had a lot of fresh water lakes like Madivala Lake, Hebbal Lake,Sankey Lake and Ulsoor Lake. But because of urbanisation, they are not fresh water lakes any more.... Primitive man loved nature, did agriculture and enjoyed his life. But today, Man became very greedy , his interest became in setting up flats, buying top quality cars, drinking coca cola, and buying high branded items. Sudden growth of human population, encrochment of lands for buildings and roads, heavy traffic has removed a lot of lakes . This is the condition of India's 3rd largest city. Industrial wastes and wastes from the different parts of city comes to lakes and weeds will grow in it. Weeds are absorbing all the oxygen content of the water . NPK content will be there .Aquatic organisms and microbes will die because of lack of oxygen .People in urban areas are dumping wastes on the shore of these lakes and these wastes get mixed with water.People using water from lakes are getting skin diseases. Our entire ecosystem will get disturbed like this. Environmentalists told that afer 10 years,lakes will be a word only in dictionary. So, Planning should be succesful. Let's try to keep the beauty of this city with out destroying it's eco sysem.
